After using aol,s free webspace for a while iv decided to set up a proper website.

First off what do i need?

I have microsoft frontpage, alot of time and alot of ideas.

I guess the first thing is finding someone to host the site any ideas im on a budget of zero lol so any free webhosting will do i dont mind a few adverts but not many.

For hosting, one of the best is giving free space away, no catches!

If your using frontpage you don't need an ftp program, you publish from within the program itself.

You'll need a domain name, i.e. the name of your website. You can purchase one from heart internet, or elsewhere and have it transferred for free, can't get much fairer than that. A domain name can cost you as little as £3.50 a year for And in some cases even less (or more) depeding on the type of domain name you buy.

For example:

www. wolfiesclan. over a period of 2 Years is only £5.18

i knew it :(

I have a budget of zero seriously cant even afford £3.50 for this project

Theres always a catch.

Is there anyway of getting a website using frontpage online for nothing?

Someone on here posted recently about acquiring a free .eu program through one of the adverts on this site, it's a place to start, if you can find the thread.

Failing that...

Your ISP may have some freespace allocated to your account which should come with a limited domain name, you could try that.
