Getting rid of 'Trojan Dropper'

I recently was hit by Trojan Dropper which I tried to delete and disinfect but my Kasperky Anti Virus program runs a scan each night and says the virus is still present and cannot disinfect and delete the virus named Trojan Dropper.VBS Bomgen.j. The scan shows that the file infected is: c\ProgramFiles\KasperskyLab\KasperskyAnti-VirusPersonal\Infected\CDRom.VBS. What does this all mean - I havn't got a clue!! What course of action should I take now?

Hi pesky,

Try running 'The cleaner' 30 day free trial...click here

If running XP or ME first off all turn off system restore and then download and run the above.

Dont forget to turn system restore back on after.

turn off system restore,if its xp:

start/control panel/performance and maintenance/system/system restore and tick the box

your av has it quarintined by the looks of it but run a scan again just incase

it may not be able to repair the file but you should be able to delete it from within the quarintine of the av(which im not familiar with)

an "CDRom.VBS" im not sure about.

ps dont forget to turn restore back on again
