hi spuds"i think you mean messenger,as i have never encountered msn appearing?

  wheelie 22:44 13 Jun 2003

Go into Outlook Express. Under the "General" heading, untick "Automatically log on to Windows Messenger".

wheelie- Tried that, still no success!!.MSN seems to return on re-boot.

nick-Yes,it is the Microsoft Messenger service. The annoyance is the full subscribe screen, that appears on booting-up, which seems to want you to subscribe to this service.

Spuds, if you press the little Union Jack above the title 'Was ist eigentlich XPAntiSpy' it will change it to English.
