Toshiba has no HDMI port is there a way to get an adapter for this? Or is there another way to watch dvds etc. played o nthe computer on the TV
I think you probably need one of these - but they don't come cheap...
This looks identical to the Maplin unit, but at a (relative) fraction of the price.
ßeta: that was somewhat my thought - they're cheap as chips these days (certainly less than the Maplin device I mentioned).
I would buy the 1080P VGA to HDMI for £13 if the vendor will send it to Ireland. I presume I would need a HDMI cable as well ? This would connect to TV via USB port?

Have you asked them? and check that your TV has HDMI socket.
