Either try dropping the list down, highlighting but not clicking it and then hit delete on your keyboard.
are you trying to start with a different home page if so tools/ internet options /general tab/homepage / type in adress of new home page/use current/ apply /ok
right click on exploer icon - properties - content tab - auto complete - clear formsthis should do the trick
Start > Run > Type: regeditWork your way to the following key:HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-57989841-573735546-839522115-1004\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLsSee if the address is there and right click delete.If the above is different to your regedit.
