A file on my machine (svclauncher.exe) was infected with the generic9.vpa last week. Since I discovered it, I can't access one particular website which I use regularly. I can still access this site from other machines with no problem.

Would this problem accessing this website be related to the infection ?

If so, is there anything I can do to fix the problem ?

Thanks, but tried system restore and it didn't work.

The suggestion is it is in your system volume information files so doing a restore will not resolve the issue.

If it is so you must turn off your system restore deleteing all restore points and the infection that lies wiithin...
