Generic Host Process/Mobile Broadband

I recently subscribed to 3 mobile broadband but I'm having a few problems. Every now and again an error report message pops up saying that "Generic Host Process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close." If I click either of the buttons, it disconnects the internet and won't connect again until I restart the machine. If I move it to the corner of the screen out of the way the internet keeps on working. I also get application error messages which have the same effect. I have Avast home edition and it keeps finding trojans in the local settins/temp folder, and I delete them but they keep coming back again, one found for each error message I get. I wnet to the shop and found that it was not a problem with the hardware but have been advised it could be spyware, however spyware terminator does not find anything on the whole machine or in the temp folder.
Can anyone please help?
