Generic Host Process for Win32

Since installing XP SP3 yesterday, on start-up Zonealarm tells me "Generic Host Process for Win32 is trying to receive from, and access, the Internet. Could someone kindly explain what this "process" is, do I need to allow it to access the Net? It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I do or don't!

Weskit,

it is a windows system process, which I give full access to on my system.

It will not do any harm giving it access.

Thanks, just making sure. There's always something new!

It's not one process, it's responsible for the Windows Services so several iterations will be running at once - some may need access to the 'net, others won't.

Thanks, my minds at ease now.
