I'm getting a Generic Host Process for Win32 Services error when starting the PC (XP, SP2). It doesn't happen every time the PC starts, perhaps about 75%of the time. The details of the error message are as follows.......szAppName : svchost.exeszAppVer : 5.1.2600.2180szModName : wuaueng.dllszModVer : 220.127.116.119offset : 0007cb9aDoes anyone know what this could be ?
thanks for this. - I can't seem to find a folder called WuTemp on my drive though. Where should it be ?
Im guessing its one of those folders with the chain of numbers. Someone more knowledgeable would have to answer that though. Ive not figured those out yet.If your problems sorted now though it may not matter.
Thanks Mac it worked !!
