Generic driver for USB Flash Drive with Win 98

I have several USB flash drives of different makes. I have no problem using them on my computer running Windows 2000 but my computer running Windows 98 SE needs drivers. I have lost the original CDs or floppies which came with the flash drives when they were new and most of the drives have no manufacturer's name on them.

Where, if anywhere, can I download a generic driver(s) which will work with any of these flash drives when I am using Windows 98SE?

If Win 2K has a database of drivers for all makes and models of flash drive, then logically it should be possible to obtain a similar database which will work with Windows 98 SE.

Please, can anyone help?
