Generic driver for joypad?

We have just bought a bog standard PC Line 8 button USB joypad (which also has a wheel type thing with arrows) and when we try to install it we are asked to insert the Win 98SE CD, which we don't have as we were daft enough to buy a PC from PC World. The master CD which came with the PC does not have the required files on it. I have managed to get the files it asks for from driver guide but when I run the set up it asks for further, different files. I'm afraid to keep downloading these files incase I mess up the PC. Is there a generic driver I can download to solve this problem ort should I just keep downloading the files until I have them all?

Many thanks in advance.

for the link. I may be being a bit thick here but where is the link to download the driver on that page?

Thanks.
