Generic card reader drivers for win98se

  NewestRoyWidd1 09:12 16 Oct 2006

Hello, following a recent reformat,I've lost the driver for my card reader(SD cards.)
The cd that came with it is as useful as the proverbial chocolate fireguard, does anyone please know where I can find a generic win98SE driver for the reader?
I seem to recall someone posting a link to one on here a few months back.Having just finished a night shift, apologies in advance for a delay in me replying.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but I once installed the service pack months ago, then took it off because it was causing system crashes/lock-ups.
Re your other link,I will try it later today.

I've installed the Unofficial Service Pack on various Windows 98SE systems with no problems.

Hello,I've installed the service pack, then plugged in the card reader, when it asked for driver location I pointed at the service pack files, and now it's installed!
Many thanks for your help Stuartli,it's greatly appreciated!
I'll tick as resolved now and get some much needed sleep.
