Hi,
Can anyone advise what I can do to correct this error message please? My computer decides to send me this message when using IE; Outlook and Word.

I use Windows 98 2nd ed.

Many thanks,

Hi TopCat,
Thanks for this,but it isn't really clear how a nivice would be able to do this. I have found another site though which tells me to Start/Run/Sysedit and click on C:\Windows|System.ini

I have done this and my Drivers line appears to be intact.

[boot]
oemfonts.fon=vga850.fon
shell=Explorer.exe
system.drv=atmsys.drv
drivers=mmsystem.dll power.drv
user.exe=user.exe
gdi.exe=gdi.exe
sound.drv=mmsound.drv
dibeng.drv=dibeng.dll
comm.drv=comm.drv
mouse.drv=mouse.drv
keyboard.drv=keyboard.drv
*DisplayFallback=0

So I don't see how I can add Drivers=MMSYSTEM.DLL
or should I delete the power.drv?

Many thanks,
