geforce 6800gt ddr3 prob !!

i am just about to purchase this grafix card but am unsure if its compatible with my pc.. have 1.25 gb pc3200 ddr mem in my machine with xfx 5900 graphics card.. the new graphics card (6800gt) says it has 256mb ddr3 mem built in.. will this confict against the normal ddr mem already in my pc ??

Not really a hardware expert but don't see why it should. On my crummy old desktop machine I have SDRAM which runs happily with a GeForce4 card which has DDR RAM. The card is independent of the mainboard. Probably best to wait for someone who knows more about it though.

they are completely seperate memory systems, so this won't cause you any problems.
