Gateway laptop

Hi, I have a Brand & Model: Gateway, model MS2285, Processor: AMD Athlon X2, CPU Speed: 2 GHz, Hard Drive: 500 GB, RAM: 4 GB, Drives: DVD, Dimensions: 14.75" x 10" x 1.5", Screen Size: 15.5"
Webcam, and Windows 7. I wanted to do a recovery on the laptop, it came with four disk, but it stopped working at the second recovery disk

A black screen comes on, it states at the top:
Windows Boot Manager, then underneath on the black screen it states (Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your windows installation disc and
restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then
click “next”
3. Click “Repair your computer.
Status: 0x000000f

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.
I no longer have warrenty on the laptop. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME?

I tried all the above and nothing is happening, it just goes back to the same screen
