games without cd

Last year i read a posting on playin games without the need for a cd I have lost the web address can anyone help?

This is one of the programs Virtual drive, if you look around you should be able to get the older version on a cover disc.

But you need a large Hard disc to load games if you run a lot

most games dont really need a cd to run once they are installed , you can get a small file that stops the pc looking for the cd.

i know the pc has to make sure you own the game but its a pain.

why is when i read some posts , people say "oh yeah copy this copy that" and a few post down they "say you cant do this and cant do that" even though both post could be asking for advice on how to do stuff that against the law.

i cant win , now i'm not sure what to tell people , i respond to some post with the same sort of answer and get slated for 1 but not the other.

i'm not the only 1 this has happened to.
