The game 'Red Alert'

My kids (and I!) used to enjoy playing 'Red Alert' but when I try to load it onto my computer running windows xp it won't install saying that it is a 'windows 95 version' ony. Any way round this problem, (other than buying a new game!!!!)

I play Red Alert and Yuri's Revenge OK on an XP computer.

For windows 95 sounds as if its trying to load a 16 bit version rather than a 32 bit version

click here and click on XP_Fix.EXE
Rename the existing file autoexec.nt to autoexec.old (make sure you have not got your system files hidden). Inside the windows folder there should be one called "repair". Within this folder there should be a copy of autoexec.nt. Make a copy of the file and place in the orignal location
