Having problem loading " Supreme Snowboarding " game. This XP version recently purchased. I have Windows XP SP 2 operating, with a large Hard Drive and 1.25 Gb RAM.
The message I receive is as follows:-
Error in thread "Parser" an unknown exception was caught in
"C:\Works\js\HIU\Setup\Thread.cpp" at line 60

I had the game previously on the computer before I upgraded from ME to XP. I probably did not delete it correctly. This why I have this error message I expect.
Can anyone offer me a solution to successfully install this game.
You assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Also worth trying is setting the games .exe file to run in compatibility mode for 98/me.To do this find the game folder using Windows Explorer, locate the game.exe file, right click and select properties....in the Compatibility tab select to run for 98/me ,apply and ok out.

Thanks gudgulf for the info you provided. Have tried your suggestions , but I have not successful unfortunately.
It would appear that this program still has some of it remaining from the original install. It also keeps saying " Large Fonts " . When I reduce to normal on the Screen I still have problems.
I think it best to just forget the whole thing. Many thanks for your efforts.
