Hi guys i hope you can help, I have just purchased and installed Call of Duty 4, i had to install a new graphics card and all was going well but then the game freezes for a second every so often is there any reason for this.
You should now your CPU, RAM, and GPU, if you intend to use your PC for games. Every game has a minimum and recommended specification (see the back of the game box). Really, your PC should be well better than the recommened in order to run smoothly.
Start > Run > dxdiag
That page shows your Processor (CPU) and Memory. Then click the Display tab for your GPU (which you've just bought, anyway!).
Thanks, this is what it came up with i hope it helps

I see you're running it at 800 x 600, but even so...... Your old Pentium 4 CPU is way below the minimum spec. Your RAM is the absolute minimum needed to run the game. Your GPU (ie that 7300 GT) isn't far above the minimum, either. You need a much better PC to run the game smoothly.
