Full Screen DOS on a PC that uses two screens

  Xzrox 19:02 08 May 2006

I'm having problems switching to full screen on either of my two monitors. I obviously don't want DOS to run wide-across two monitors, but I would like it to full screen on either my primary or secondary monitor within Windows XP.

The symptom: each time I 'full screen' a DOS window, I just get a few rainbow-coloured rows at the very top of the configured primary monitor.

I'm using a Radeon 9600 with the Primary Monitor configured on the DVI port and the Secondary Monitor configured on the VGA port.

I wonder if this is a problem others have experienced or whether it is unfortunately particular to my current setup.

XP does not run DOS. It's a DOS type Window not DOS

Have you tried alt+enter?

I know @ DOS type Window. :-)

I am using Alt+Enter to go 'full screen'. It is this that is failing to work. Also, the (shortcut) option to go 'full screen' upon execution also fails to work.
