When an email is sent can you stop recipitent from seeing your full name.

They will be seeing your name from your email address.
for example "my.name at btinternet"

If you don't want that set up and use another address that has no relation to your real name.

Is that what you mean ?

With Windows Live or Hotmail you can open a new e-mail address and use any factitious name that you like.
Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
If you mean forwarding an e=mail without your own e-mail address showing I have my doubts.

There are various sites on line, such as Google and Yahoo!. Where if you register you can have an email account. You can call yourself whatever you like and if you don't link it to your home email address then no-one would know who sent it!

I just hope I'm not aiding and abetting a potential spam attacker!? ¦¬] G1

My email address is jd etc not my name but it seems my full name is showing when ever I send email.

If you are using Outlook Express or Live just change your real name in the Properties of your account. I am sure if you use Hotmail or another client, someone else can advise.
