Hi folks, I`m looking for some guidance on how to replace the keyboard on my Amilo m1425.
If some kind person could point me to a place of info` or take the time themselves to explain I would be very grateful.

Many thanks, RFB

Normally on laptops you pry up the part of the case just above the top of the keyboard (be careful, the little clips can be fragile), underneath there are usually a couple of screws holding the keyboard down. If you get that far, there's a little [ribbon] cable connecting the keyboard to the motherboard, ease that off the keyboard and the keyboard should come away.

Thanks for that Maj, much appreciated.

I was looking for a service manual or images that would take the guesswork out of prying areas that can`t be pried to avoid damage... any ideas?

I did search for a service manual, RFB, but couldn't find one, just the user manual on the Fujitsu site.
