HI
i'm suffering from frequent crashes which im guessing is due to something overheating. I doubt it is my cpu however as it has a really good heatsink and fan and is usually around 40 oC when i check. I recently added a new soundcard, psu and cpu , and since then these crashes have started to happen
However , they only happen when im on the internet , after being on for say 20 mins , however i can play a really taxing game for hours with no consequences.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had this since a Rebuild of Computer, Made Acronis Images as I loaded Software and Drivers. Got to Image 5 and was having your Problem. I have had to go back to Image 3 to stop the Crashes. This shows how windows can get messed up.

No amount of Running SFC etc would sort it. Including Altering BIOS power settings. Bu now clear after the above

Right click My computer/properties/Advanced/Start up and Recovery/Settings untick the box for Automatically Restart, and see if the error still occurs.

well it has , but is that really a good way to deal with the problem , i mean , im not sure if that is fixing it as such or just caausing the pc not to srestart when it hits a serious error.

I think what jimv7 also shouldve said is.. post any error massage if you receive one when it crashes again.

and

C:\DOCUME~1\CAMERO~1.BEO\LOCALS~1\TEMP\WER68f4.dir00\sysdata.xml

these are the technical details of the error report when it crashes.
