Freeware Alternative Word Processor?

  Diodorus Siculus 14:34 25 Feb 2004

Can anyone please suggest one for a friend whose MSWord is malfunctioning and is not near her CD with MS office.

Preferably only a word processor, not or similar Office Suites.

Many thanks, Dio.

Thanks; looks promising.

If this is just a temporary measure why not use Wordpad which is probably on her computer anyway. Text can be formatted & saved in rich text format and opened in word at a later date.

Taff36 - thanks.

I forgot about that, and it reminded me that I have put CetusWordPad on that laptop anyway.

Thanks all....

I'll keep this open though for the sake of any more ideas people have.
