freeview recorder only

Hi,
I have recently acquired a tv with freeview incorporated. I want a freeview recorder preferably Humax that will record from the tv. I don't see any point in buying a recorder with freeview tuner included, when it can be recorded from the tv.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the recorder with record and playback ONLY ?
Cheers Pete.

Only problem is you can only record what the TV tuner is set to. So you watch and record the same thing. If you time shift - what do you do about recording channel 1 at 19:00 and channel 2 at 21:00 when you are out?
For about £100 the Humax gives you 2 tuners. So you can record two things while watching a third recording .... neat boxes.

Thanks DippyGirl, I should have given it a little more thought. Can't imagine why you are called Dippy, I'd like to rename you ? It really is a waste of money buying a tv with freeview, when it doesn't include a recorder, I think they have started to do that now !!!
Cheers DippyBoy Pete.
