freeserve has hijacked internet explorer

hi, i used an old freeserve cd to trry and set up a dial up connection on my laptop. i abandoned the set up after realising it was going to take longer than i thought. everything seemed to be fine until i upgraded windows media player to version 10 and tried to view album info, this threw up a wanadoo page (my broadband isp) informing me i needed to change proxy server settings to view the page with ie. the settings were as they asked anyway.

anyway i still can't view album info on wmp10 and now when i try to view anything on ie it shows the connection page for freeserve. i thought i'd deleted anything that freeserve had by then put on my system.

what's going on and how do i get rid of this freeserve thing??
