I am trying to install the above drive but I keep getting a message that I have a problem with my USB device and the computer does not recognise it. Can any one help please or should I just send it back. I have tried it in different usb ports which I know work because I have tested them all. Is there any particular order that they should be connected. Than you all for your help.

Have you tried booting with the external drive connected? Try this also - turn off PC then disconnect P/S and disconnect USB cable. Then plug in USB cable, plug power supply back into the back of the enclosure, turn it on.

northumbria61Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry for the delay as I had to go out just after I asked for help. I am very pleased to tell you that your connection sequence worked and now all is fine.. Thanks again for your help. I will now mark this as resolved.
