my friend tells me blue yonder are upping connection to 750kbps from 570 at no extra cost do you think bt and the other isps should do the same .

they are able to do this with the cable connections but are restricted with speeds on ADSL.

i doubt it'll happen soon, they need to keep their ADSL prices down so don't expect miracles... not yet anyway

watch this space,,,,,,NTL upped thier connection speeds from 128k to 150k & 512k to 600k.

about two months later, the price of the 150k went up from £15 a month to £17.99.

free isnt always such a good thing.

Apparently BT have been told by Ofcom,that they must look into their services that they provide.By all accounts, this will sub divide certain sectors as we know them today. So it could well mean that their internet service could improve in the not to distant future.

Remember, most ISP's use BT as a line provider.
