Have read alot about software which you can buy to watch TV channels from all over the world inc. sattellite.

I've seen them advertised on ebay from around £5 under the TV Cards category.

Please have a look at these 2 web pages which I found from googling "sat TV software download"

Has anyone bought any of these - do they really work or are they just a scam?

they do work, but there is only a selection of channels which isn't very good to be honest... and you need fast internet otherwise it will buffer every 2 seconds

I have regular 2Meg broadband is that fast enough?
What's the picture quality like?

Can I get the UK terrestrial and digital channels?

I ask because I was gonna buy a TV tuner card 'till I saw this?

Buy a TV tuner!!! I have a Wintv NOVA-T-PCI which i got for £30 and really i have never had such a good TV tuner. Comes with handy remote completly compatible with Window MCE (i think MCE is rubbish but if you like it...). These programs really son't have any decent content, they are of poor quality and don't always work.

you cannot get uk terrestrial channels through the ones I've seen, your best bet is a tv card to be honest!
