free chat

I have a free ntlworld web space which I am hosting a site through.

Just wondering what the best solution would be to get a free customisable chat room into the site.

(e.g. does anyone know if php ill run on the ntlworld hosting).

Cheers, Tom

Most free space provided by ISPs will not allow you to run CGI or PHP scripts.

You can get hosted chat and forum scripts and simply provid a link out to them, btu they rarely look anything like your own site and are usually riddled with banner adverts.

I'd suggest you either do without or think about paying a modest yearly fee for proper hosting which will open up all kinds of possibilities to you with regard to the scripts you are able to run.
