I'm backing up some of my computer discs but reaslised that some of them ie. windows XP need to be copied as an 'image' or something.i used to have a version of nero but cant find it anywhere. that used to have a facilty to copy everything on a disc, even the stuff you cant see.are there any decent free download software that can do the same thing?
The "image or something" file type is called an ISO. With DeepBurner free you can burn ISO files to DVD or CD. You can download it from here:click here
cheers for the link. but im after something that requires no effort.i have two disc drives. i want to put the cd i want to backup in one and a cd-r in the other. i then just want to copy it on the fly exactly how the original cd exists.any free software that does that?
everything requires some effort click here
I have downloaded BurnAware Free. So far very impressed and seem simpler to operate than DeepBurner. It also verifies the copy it has made before closing. Takes time but worth it. Find it here click here
impressed with software. it was about as effort free as it goes.608: cheers for the link anyways
