Found new hardware CLPCIID

When I start up the PC I now get the 'found new hardware' wizard telling me it has found 'CLPCIID'. I have not added any hardware to the system. When I use the wizard to search the discs that came with the system, no drivers can be found. In the last session I had on the PC before this message started to appear, I installed Lavasoft's Ad-Aware from the PC Advisor coverdisc and I also installed some more windows XP updates as suggested by the automatic updates program. Can anyone suggest the next step? Should I just try disabling/uninstalling CLPCIID in the device manager?
