I can't find the link quickly tonight but it is one you commented on with regard to continuity of email after switching from DialUp to Broadband.

I am a BT Anytime subscriber & have been concerned about exactly what would happen to my email address if I switched over to the faster service.

You are correct in that the actual email address can be retained BUT with Broadband Basic & Broadband this is only WEBMAIL if you want to continue with POP3 then the upgrade to Premium Mail is required and that costs £1.50 per month.

On the expensive BT Yahoo Broadband - which is expensive POP3 is included.

I have clarified this on BT Premium Cost Help line this afternoon.

I transfered from BTAnytime to Broadband in August and my e-mail address is still POP3 and still free. It hasn't been necessary to upgrade to Premium Mail.

I agree.

I'm more confused now - especially after paying an 0906 Premium Number to BT to clarify before I move.

Are you on BT Broadband Basic £17.99 ?
Are you on BT Broadband £24.99 ?

If you are on the Yahoo versions I know that includes POP3.

Appreciate your response anyway but I can't tick RESOLVED at the moment.
