How can I format my hard drive in my laptop? I don't want to use the xp disk, because i dont want to put xp on it. I just want it completely blank. My laptop doesnt have a floppy drive though, so how can i do it?

You'll need (I think) to create a bootable CD - plenty of instructions around on the internet for that - and put Fdisk or similar on it. Then run it from a command prompt as normal.

Set the BIOS to boot from the optical drive.
