Format USB drive to XFS from Vista

  Bad_Boy1022 12:17 24 Mar 2009

Hello Chaps

how can I format a USB drive currently formatted to NTFS to XFS. Is there a utility disk to do that?

That drive is a Drobo 4TB. It was formatted to HFS, and I had to reformat it to NTFS, but really need in it in XFS

The drobo utility offers only HFS , NTFS or Fat32., but I have google around, but it dfinitely can be formatted to XFS.

I tried to run GPARTED, but it could not see. The device is working under vista now. The reason, I want it in XFS, as I have a world book, and with 1TB of better that has outgrowned itself, hence the drobo

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tullie

Done it with Gparted. I emailed gparted and they told me how to format the drive to XFS.
