Format my C Drive

I am running windows XP Pro (Htms)? (not Fat 32)

I need to format my c drive then reinstall windows xp pro.

How can I do this?

what is htms?

Well I am just restoring a Image to XPhome created with Acronis True Image Free version just to get some space back and clear rubbish. You would do well to do the same It save's a lot of hassle

Yes. I meant NTFS.
It was a long hard day...
My previous experience (limited) of formatting my hard drive let me to believe that I must have a floppy with the startup files on it to allow me to do the format and then to access the drives etc after the hard drive had been formatted. Is this still true with XP pro?

If you have the XP Pro disk just start it from your desktop and chose to do a new install. This will give you the option to format your HDD when your computer has rebooted.
