After a clean installation of XP Home, I checked the programme files and found a folder for microsoft frontpage 3.0 which is empty. I have never owned this programme. I can't delete this folder, rename it etc. Anyone help, please and thanks.

You could try if it's the same as 98 go into Control Panel Add Remove\Windows setup see if it's in any of the pages there

Have done all the usual things, no listing in add/remove programmes. When I did a search for microsoft frontpage only the folder is shown. I thought going into Registry might find it, but I'm not sure where to go with it.

If it's a Empty Folder you should be able to delete it in safe mode

Thanks, will try that and let you know.

If it's not causing a problem, why not ignor it?

Valvegrid - I am selling the computer so don't want the buyer to wonder why its there. It wouldn't bother me if I was keeping it. :)

Oh, right.

Go into regedit from Start/Run type Regedit press OK go to EDIT in menu/find type in the box frontpage press enter you can delete the entry if it's for the program then press F3 to go to next entry in registry and so on until you get to the end of Regedit. It should then Delete in windows after a restart of comp
