Anyone able to record TV programmes direct to PC hard disk?
I can record Freeview and Analogue from my attached TV and Vhs player. but I can only do this through Sony's Giga Pocket, and limits the the number of chanels to record.
I am tring to find out if there is a freebie out there to enable me to record video for example direct from the Internet or some of the foreign TV shows we can noe get?

The easiest way is to buy a Freeview PCI TV card such as the Twinhan DTB-ter Digital+Analogue (D+A); the software allows recording direct to the hard drive in the same way as a PVR box such as that from Sky.

Costs from around £25 to £30 these days.
