I am completely befuddled by "boo" "lol" "bump"etc. Have we a secret society running here, or is my computer jargon sadly amiss??

LOL=laugh out loud

Bump, or any other word you can think of, sends the post to the top again, before it goes onto page two and gets forgotten...

  Simsy 10:58 28 Sep 2003

is used to "bump" a thread back to the top of the list of postings. Any entry will, of course, do this, but it seems to be a sensible word for the task... "refresh" is also often used.

lol is an abrieviation for "laugh out loud", i.e "I'm only joking"

IMHO = "In my humble opinion"

TAIKRS .... well I just made that one up...

"That's all I Know...

click here

You won't find "boo!" there - that means "Boo!".

"Bump" (or "refresh" or indeed anything) is just a way of bumping a post to the top of the board as explained click here
