Hmmm And the reason for this thread is ?

  hmmm 01:01 29 Jan 2003

which one is better?
which one do u guys feel is worth me getting?

I understand you might be wanting to decide between them - but think logically about what you are (presumably) asking.

Who here is likely to have one of each of these side by side and can thus give you a comparison?

You are the best judge, once you've read the facts. Like DieSse says, it isn't very likely someone could answer, tech stuff asides, what are the prices, what's your budget, what will you be using the display for (gaming?), and are there other personal considerations like design, pivot or other features?

i am not too concerned about the price. Monitor will be used for internet browsing, visual basic scripting, word processing and gaming.

I am not sure about what the actual prices are but the pv722e is more expensive even though the specs on the s730 are better.

The s730 does not hve a dvi input...it is analogue...does this really matter

thanx for the response guys

I have just bought a 722i (I think this is the same as your 722e (?)) and it is very good indeed although I have yet to try it much (details why are too boring to post). The dvi and USB, etc are, to my mind, well worth having, especially if your computer is good enough for you to buy a TFT screen in the first place. Pivot is essential if you want to look at photos or A4 pages.
