I am having a bit of trouble getting any Flash content to work on my PC. I have Flash Player 9 installed on IE 7 but when I go to a site that has an extension swf I get an error on the page. The error is object expected. I have checked all the settings I can find and even restored the default. I also have the latest Sun Java installed. Here is an example of the web sites I cant see:

Any ideas

I have the correct version. When I uninstall the player and re-install from Adobe I get their graphic come up that says I have it installed. It's only sites that have the extension swf that won't play.

Having similar problems, but found this was more to do with the original downloading site!.

The same thing applied to Sun Java!.

Try Stuartli's link, its a known cure for most Flash problems.

Still no go. I have uninstalled several times and reinstalled. I know it is working because I am using incredimail and MSN and they both would not work without Flash. I don't think it is a Flash problem. Because of the error I get from pages such as this:

Could this be a Java problem?
I can view video on Youtube and that needs Flash.
