Just bought a pencil flash drive - great gadget !Small,simple,effective. But I have a niggle with it! On other machines I just plug it in and straight away there it is in both windows explorer and My Computer. Not so with my machine - to get it recognised I have first to open windows explorer then plug, unplug and then plug back in again and then it appears in windows explorer but NOT in My computer ! From then on I can use it ok but I realy would like to see it first time in both locations. (The other systems that work it fine are of similar spec.) Any suggestions ?
I'm using XP pro ( I have no problems with another machine using same - the drive is recognised immidiately) The USB cable is direct from the pc and I've tried swapping it with the printer but no change.
