Alienware 17 R4 2017 review
This is the first build I've ever done so i have a couple of questions and im definitely listening to any of yalls recommendations.
Any help is really appreciated, thank you! Couple of things I'm not sure of : Is all of this going to fit in my mid size tower? Are all my parts well balanced? Are all of my parts compatible ? Is 650w enough? do yall have any better builds to recommend? What are yalls opinions ?
As of now the total is right at $890

What will be the main use of your build.
Yes your parts will fit in your case but you might want to rethink your case as they have a pretty poor reputation with airflow and consequently can be hot and noisy.
Never come acrossyour PSU before but the reviews i have read seem to indicate that it is a reasonable power supply, but I prefer a modular design helps with overall airflow and you only need to plug in the cables you need.
I have the Hyper 212 on a spare PC not the best cooler but better than the stock heatsink, but unless you are going to overclock then the stock would be fine.
If your into games then the 550Ti is pretty rubbish.
If you've not got a specific need for i7, you could swap to i5-2500K, and use saving to get better GPU. Unless you're into photography/video, there's very little benefit to i7, for gaming. If you have no objection to Radeon, what you save should get you up to, say, HD6850.
