Firewire to USB

Does anyone know of an adapter that will allow me to connect a firewire device to a USB port? My, slowly failing, memory tells me that there isn't such a thing though.

Thanks for the links, gengiscant, but I don't buy from the far east and the ebay seller seems a bit iffy. A UK based supplier is what I'm searching for, now.

Well Maj Ive seen your question posted regularly by others and the answer is always as I believe two totally incompatable processes one works continuous the other in packets
