Firewall and Sky Broadband

I am running Sky Broadband and have there router/modem. Does this have a built in firewall or do I still need to run Comodo, ZoneAlarm or one of the others in addition.

Regards, Tony

A router's firewall provides protection from "incoming" internet traffic but, like Windows' built-in firewall, doesn't control which programs in your PC are allowed to connect to the internet. For this reason, a good software firewall should also be installed in the PC.

Thanks for the replys.
I already have Comodo installed but was wondering if it was really needed. I only have an Athlon 1800XP and want as few things running in the background as possible.

Thanks again, Tony
