FIREWALL SETTING BLOCKS ACCESS

I have Broadband and since yesterday cannot access the internet. Have contacted Telewest and they say it is my firewall.
I think I may have made a mistake yesterday....the following appeared....
NORTON I S....NEW NETWORK DETECTED...To join this service choose the security setting you want to use...it then showed my Gateway IP and LOcal IP address. What location do you want to use...Home, Office, Away or use custom setting ...I clicked HOME and went on. And since then cannot access internet.

right click the icon and reconfigure it again?

Not at my pc at the moment.....ie..right click on the icon on the taskbar ? and then to reconfigure are there any default settings or is it an easy task ??...will need to go back home to try this...any other points I should know before trying ??

After 3 telephone calls to TELEWEST the eventually admit to being a FAULT at their end !!.
