Firewall problems

I've just re-installed XP home and got everything back up to date and working well. But I've got an issue with my security software "Panda I.S 2007". I keep getting alerts from the MS security centre telling me my firewall has turned it self off( panda however says everything is running fine. These alerts last less than a second, then inform me every thing is working OK.
I've tried uninstalling Panda, disabling the Windows fire wall and re-installing Panda, but the problem persist. I've been on to the Panda forums for help put to no avail. So you Guys are my last hope. I don't want to stop using Panda as I've got it installed on 3 PC's and I need the parental controls it gives. Any advice welcome
