I recently installed from a download, the Outpost Firewall. But after the install a couple of my games refused to run, when I de-installed the program everything was ok, these are not downloaded games but on CD. If this is a configuration problem, can anyone give me a couple of tips regarding this.

Hi Golfpro,

have you tried looking here?

are you getting any error messages from the games when you try to install them?

are the games the sort that need net access to be played?

If so in Outpost goto Options>general> applications and see if the games are blocked or partly blocked.

if they are you need to put them in the trusted section.

you can find out how to do this by looking in the help section in Outpost.

Also in 'policy' have you set up as 'block most'.

Thanks for the reply, will check out your sugestions, its obviously my fault setting the protocals, the games affected by the way were "Star Wars Racer" and "GP 500".
