firewall on motherboard

hi i have just fitted a foxcon 6100 motherboard
while i install the drivers ect ther is a option to install a nvidia firewall should i install this thanks Chippy

Personally I would not. I think better to install Zone Alarm (free) from click here it monitors incoming and out going traffic which you can control.

hi Press Man,buteman thanks for you opinions i did not install the firewall because i thought it would conflict with my own (comodo) but acording to the article buteman pointed to it seems to be alright thanks again

It would seem to be a variation on a modem router firewall.

hi Stuartli thanks for the reply do you think it would be better with or without the foxcon firewall i have the pc fitted through a unex router and have a comodo firewall Chippy

As your router will presumably have a firewall, plus the inclusion of the Comodo equivalent, you should be well covered.
