I have recently installed avast anti virus and would like advise on a compatible firewall. I have windows xp and service pack 2 which has its own firewall but believe I need extra cover. Any help would be appreciated.

But remember to turn off Windows firewall before installing & using Sygate.

Have been using Zonealarm for the last 5 years, one of the best and a freebie.

I'm with Jak_1. Have used Avast with Zone Alarm for ages. No problems. Any thoughts on Kerio anyone?

Kerio is good, been using it with avast for some time now. No problems.

I had compatibility issues between these two. I now have AVG and ZA.
